Time to Repent- You Will be set Free!

You Hear the whisper through the rain....God who gives can Take Away! The valley of despair gets filled with just ONE drop of Jesus Blood!  Jesus' cleansing power is mighty then and now and forever! Our Jesus is Faithful and covers all sin!

STOP putting a dark veil over your shame and sin (bad habits, habitual habits that keep you from being Holy & Pleasing to the Lord...anything that is keeping you from having a Real and True Relationship with our Living God) You may think you are fooling yourself but GOD sees ALL! You hide nothing from him. All that happens is you disgrace Jesus' death by not letting his atonement pay for you debt!  How Dare Ye' take from the cup and eat from the this table .....the Lord is displeased when you claim to be clean yet you hide the real darkness. The Lord does convict and withhold the blessings upon those that won't simply say "Lord, I have sinned, Please forgive me" It's time to take inventory! It's time admit to the dirty lies you have convinced yourself as the truth.

Is Your Life, Home, Church dirty? Are there lies, half truths and un dealt issues tearing apart the Power of Redemption?  You have no idea how much Jesus is mourning with you, the angels around are down on bended knee weeping and mourning over your darkness. Come Clean- Repent and Seek the Lord to Set your Paths Straight!

Don't Let Jesus Blood be a free pass to continue on shameful sin. "Sin Not" and try to live a sinless life. You do NOT need to be perfect but you need to try do the best can. Stand up and let him hold your hand and when he fall down, God's right there!  God wants fellowship and joy with you!

Remember the Lord will NEVER convict you of a repented sin! If you continue to feel guilt that is SATAN whispering you Lies! Your Sins were covered and forgiven at repentance!

I say this with Spirit of God amidst them all.  Your Spirit needs healing so you can move beyond the bondage (all Bondage!! Food, complacency, guilt etc)

God our Comfort in Chaos & how stress affects our health and weight loss

Zephanaiah17 The Lord your God is with you,
                 the Mighty Warrior who saves.
                 He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”

We live in the flesh everyday, our mind and emotions listening to two voices (the worldly pollution) and the Holy Spirit living inside you. Chaos ensues at times. What we want to do in the flesh and what our spirit tells us which is always best. The chaos causes us to lose focus, we may begin to seek attention, fulfillment in the wrong places. If you are a mindless food eater then this hits home for you. If you are a comfort eater then this hits home for you too because comfort is found in food for many people (Obese or Underweight)

Chaos causes the first instinctual response in the Brain which is to calm but the problem is there is no real calming factor that happens inside the body. Genetically when we experience chaos and stress our body reacts by producing stress hormones like Cortisol. Cortisol stress hormone causes us to linger with hunger, cause us to retain weight, cause our metabolism to slow down. It alters immune system responses and suppresses the digestive system, the reproductive system and growth processes. This complex natural alarm system also communicates with regions of your brain that control mood, motivation and fear.

Why do you think that is? Why would our Amazing God make our body's to respond counter intuitively? We are so amazingly and uniquely created so divine and different from any other species on the planet, so why not make us with the ability for our body to relax and find comfort in the flesh vs the complete opposite? That is because Cortisol is exactly what you need in an emergency! God wanted us to have exactly what we need in order to react in the exact time of need! It was meant to work along with adrenaline and other endorphins to help with fight/flight response. Yet the problem is, we live with so much stress that those occurrences happen multiple times a day or week without us even really realizing it.

So if you are constantly stressed how you are handling it today? What is the habit that you have chosen to deal with your stress?

God is that amazing that he knows the ONLY true way to find comfort is through HIM! Through prayer and worship you can lower your stress and find comfort in him.  What if every time you found yourself amidst the chaos and the comfort of the chocolate is what is calling your name, you instead get down on your knees and pray? You'll grow with your relationship with God. You'll be restored and filled. The Lord will always comfort you.

Will you miraculously be able to stand up from prayer and walk right past the pantry without a food thought? Totally possible and happens! Yet you must also begin to exercise more restraint as well. You will pray and worship and then make conscious healthy choices to meet the Lord in the middle. He will do his part and you'll do yours. Go for a walk, grab an apple ......this is what you can along with the Lord stay healthy and gain control over your food and Grow in the Lord!

Food Guilt - Let the Lord Clear Your Conscious Hebrews 10:22

Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

As I coach people in weight loss there is a constant perpetual cycle of  Over- Restriction →Over-Eating→ Guilt →Over Restriction→OverEating → Guilt and on and on and on.........

When a person restricts their food to the point that they can't sustain the strict restriction they often cave and "over eat" or "binge" and then after that floods of guilt comes in. The guilt causes us to stay away from starting over- or just becomes a vicious cycle.

There is one true cure from the guilty feelings that come from over-eating or staying complacent in an active lifestyle. Let the Lord our God  wash and purify you. Don't let the guilt keep you from trying again. Don't let the guilt give you a permission slip to continue on in  unhealthy way of living or staying sedentary.

I want you to keep Faith, I want you to let the Lord restore your body and purify your spirit with the Living Water which is pure and clean. Clear your conscious on a daily basis (Multi-daily) basis. Learn to bring it to God and Keep Running & Fueling on Faith ♥

Wisdom Bestows Well Being

Proverbs 3:23-26
23Then you will go on your way in safety,
and your foot will not stumble.
24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25 Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the Lord will be at your side
and will keep your foot from being snared.

The Truth of Wisdom!  How well we can all live our life through Wisdom. Wisdom of the Truth of God! Amen to the Gift!  When we embrace the wisdom (to learn, grow, transform both physically and in spirit) then we are guaranteed freedom. Our guarantee that no sudden disaster or ruin that overtakes the wicked will overtake us. Is this a guarantee that nothing bad will happen to us? Not entirely it just means that the ruin that is bestowed upon the wicked will not be the same for you or I that holds onto both the Truth and Wisdom of the Truth. Not only that read the passage carefully and it says with the Lord at your side , he will keep your foot from being snared.  Are you putting him there with you? He is there and he is waiting for you to talk to him daily, he is waiting for you to acknowledge him in every step of your life, when you begin to trip hold out your hand the Lord is ready to catch you or lift you up from the fall.

Are you full trusting? Are you fulling embracing the truth? The salvation is just one part of the gift. Let the other part is the wisdom to know that it's MORE than just knowing Jesus once existed, died and rose again for us! It's about loving him and trusting him fully to the extent that you talk and walk with him daily. My prayer is that you are doing that today. If you are not then start talking to Jesus- ask him to help you, shape you , guide you, protect you! He loves to have a relationship with all of us! Ah, the Wisdom!

Overcoming Food Temptations

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
In the journey to use our faith to deter us from gluttonous ways we are always in temptation. It's our culture and it's the American (and often Worldly) way. We celebrate with food, we comfort ourselves with food, we eat out of boredom and we indulge when it just tastes so great. Temptations come from advertising, smells, enriched foods not in it's natural taste that heighten to the maximum the sweetness that leaves the brain and body alluring for more. What does your heart truly desire though? What about your soul?
Temptations are going to happen. It will then become a matter of what we do from that temptation. Often we promise and vow to God that we will sustain. I've read and heard from countless that they submit and then repent for their unwilling flesh. However I urge you to deeply remember that you have a willing soul and  that it wants to connect you to God's word and his promise. 1st Corinthians could be use more wildly than the discussion of food. Such as idolatry, addictions and deeper rooted sinful natures beyond a food addiction. However it deems just as serious to me and to those that battle food addictions. How do we trust in our God to provide and deliver us from that temptation?
We know we are of the flesh it becomes our scape goat to commit the sin and quickly repent. God wants better of us. He wants us to listen to him, read his word and speak to him in your heart for when you are tempted he will provide a way out and or help you endure. Can you trust in that? We must it's apart of our Faith.
Ask yourself as you stand before each temptation "Is this time to celebrate?" "Can I indulge and have moderation?" and begin to speak the truth that you fully trust that God will provide you  away to hold true that he will be enough for your craving soul

Experience Joy & Victory and Don't Give Up!

Keep Growing in Christ. God has a plan for your life; a purpose. He wants to restore your salvation and grant you a willing spirit to sustain you. If you are a sinner you can always turn back to him.

Very often we lack Joy & Victory in our life. It's is his purpose for us to enjoy all these Earthly things. We must not turn our back to his Wildly Amazing Creations.

What I know for me I find Joy in Running. I find Victory in following through with my daily endeavors with food & fitness. "I fall I get up- I keep going"  I don't let my past keep me from what I'm supposed to be doing.

 Psalm 51:10
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within
me.
God does not want you to quit. He does not want you to give up on yourself. He is waiting and watching you. Don't turn your back toward him because he has not taken away your pain or sorrows. He needs you to learn to forgive yourself and he wants you to ask for forgiveness. Repent & Move On.
Psalm 37:24
though he stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his
hand.
I Trust You My Heavenly Father ♥ Amen.

Find Rest in the Lord not in Your Food

Mathew 11:28-29
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

How often do you find yourself feeling weary (as you hunger emotionally?) I think weary is a great adjective to describe all sorts of emotions.  If you know you are hungry emotionally I want to teach you to become hungry "spiritually" instead! One of the greatest things I love to coach is how to handle our emotions. I've always suggested to my girls meditate, take a hot bath or shower, read a good book, go for a walk, listen to appealing music, chew gum, find healthier low calorie alternatives etc to treat emotional eating & binge eating. Now I can offer the greatest coping strategy of all; turning it over to God! Get out a Great Book is Right~ our Bible!

Jesus said he would give you rest! What you need to do instead of going toward the food to fuel your emotions you need to find a quiet a place and fuel your spirituality with the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray to God and he will help you lift your wariness and  burdens. Our Lord can calm you with his everlasting presence. You just got to take the time and you have to ask for it. Ask & you Shall Receive.

Isaiah 40-31
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Learning to fuel your spirituality instead of your body when you are emotionally hungry will help you grow toward our Lord. He will renew our Strength. Your hunger will subside and you will gain spiritual fueling from God. He will fill your body with fuel and you will have strength (just like Isaiah said .......to run and not grow weary....to walk and not be faint)

John 4:34
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

What will Your Fuel Be?
